The Snake Is Watching

​The Snake Is Watching
 
You believe I have disappeared.
Smiling in controlling victory.
The celebration, for you
will not be a long one.
 
The people only see the sheep
that you are dressed as.
This snake sees all
and is quietly watching.
 
This snake sees the wolf
that you are hiding in your skin.
You cannot hide who you are
from all of us.
 
Soon your disguise
will be revealed.
Fangs covering the smile.
A Wolf is what you are.
Until the day
all of you is shown
this Snake is watching.
