Whispers Of The Calm

Boxed in anxiety of the unknown
is taking over this confused body.
Starting to ignore time
and its existence.
Just wish to breakout
of the mad ness of this mind.

Breathing is even,
chest could stop
or explode at anytime.

Attempting to clear it all
from the racing mind
to center my soul’s universe.

Sitting, bringing in the light,
centering on the positive
holding onto and appreciating.
The valleys can be worse.

Spirits have spoken
to stop the shaking.
The body being opened
to the whispers of the calm.

Yes, these are hard times now everywhere. Anxiety a lot of us have now. Then we have to try and think positive. I like the last line. You always have a way with words and I love that. Thank you very much for sharing your phenomenal poem with us!

Out of all the poems that you posted here, I have to say that "Whispers Of The Calm" is one of the best poems that I saw. I know that you prefer writing short poems, but it would be great if you explore different styles too. I am sure that you will nail it if you will right long poems because you are very articulate with your thoughts. I am sure that you will touch more hearts of your readers if you plan to do that anytime soon!
